Modular Thinking, Confident Design

Piccolo was born from NEOZ’s commitment to modular, sustainable design. Instead of starting from scratch, the team combined an existing N1 base with a newly developed ribbed diffuser—originally created for the Cooee 4. The result: a fast, efficient new lamp that reduced tooling, minimised waste, and delivered something fresh with minimal intervention.

Though small, Piccolo makes a statement. Described by its designer as the “short, sharp, confident one,” it draws the eye without dominating the table. The IP64-rated build is robust enough for terraces and elegant enough for fine dining. With replaceable components and sustainable material choices—including 75 % recycled plastic in the diffuser—it offers enduring performance with a light footprint.

Piccolo distils NEOZ’s design language into a compact form. Its conical stainless steel body—available in Silver, Gold, or Bronze—is PVD coated for durability and visual polish. The ribbed diffuser softens the light and creates a distinctive glow, both atmospheric and functional. Despite its scale, the lamp offers a full lighting experience, with soft sidelight and clear downlight for comfortable use across bars, lounges, and small dining settings. Designed to work in professional environments and refined homes alike, Piccolo proves that small does not mean secondary.

Piccolo stands 155 mm tall with a base diameter of 84 mm and weight of approximately 0.9 kg. The body is CNC-machined stainless steel with brushed PVD finishes in Silver, Gold, or Bronze. The vertically fluted polycarbonate diffuser is made from 75 % post-consumer recycled plastic. The lamp features the N1 Light Engine with 93+ CRI warm white (2600 K) LED, or optional 1800 K warm candle LED. Runtime is up to 17.5 hours on low or around 7 hours on high. Charging takes 3.5 hours via NEOZ single charger, tray, or 48-unit trolley. Rated IP64, Piccolo is suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor use. All components are modular and replaceable.
